💧 Heat or cool. Keep rinsing.

With AQUACHRON, temperature adjustment and rinsing happen together—saving process time while fabric and liquor keep circulating.

Patented by SCLAVOS. Developed by SCLAVOS.

From batch data to calculated rinsing steps, water, time and energy consumption.

SMART IN PRINCIPLE.
EFFICIENT IN PRACTICE.

Two ways to rinse. A different process logic.

Drain & fill renews the bath in separate stages. Controlled continuous rinsing renews it while rinsing continues.

That difference matters:
• Fewer interruptions for draining and filling.
• An ongoing outlet for residues released into the bath.
• Flow, bath level and temperature coordinated to support effective rinsing.

During draining, fabric can retain suspended particles and lint. Keeping residues moving out is an important part of protecting fabric quality.

Continuity + control: the basis for efficiency.

Explore Chapter 5 of The Science of Fabric Dyeing™ — and compare the principles behind the two methods.

The benchmark: total water, energy and time at the same rinsing result.

💧 The water leaves. Do the residues?

Draining the bath does not mean every residue leaves the fabric.

Particles and lint can stay behind. Dissolved residues can remain in retained liquor—and enter the next rinse.

Better removal. Better rinsing. Better protection for fabric quality.

Drain. Fill. Repeat.
Time to rethink.

Chapter 3 | The Hidden Cost of Drain & Fill

The cost of rinsing goes beyond the water meter.

Every repeated cycle involves:
💧 Water
⚡ Electrical energy
♨️ Thermal energy, when heating is required
⏱️ Time

Filling takes time. Circulation takes time. Draining takes time.

Even with power drain, the fabric still needs time to drain. Emptying the vessel is only part of the bath exchange.

Pumps and fabric movement consume electricity. Heating requires thermal energy. Hot liquor carries heat out.

To understand the real cost, we must count the whole cycle—and compare processes at the same rinsing result.

The next step in rinsing starts with rethinking the process.

More water. Lower concentration.
But where do the residues go?

Chapter 2 | The Physics of Dilution

In Chapter 1, we explored what rinsing must remove.
Now, we look at what adding fresh water actually changes.

A simple example:
1,000 g of dissolved salt in 100 L = 10 g/L.
Add 100 L of fresh water, mix thoroughly, and the concentration falls to 5 g/L.

Double the volume. Cut the concentration in half.

Yet all 1,000 g of salt are still there.

Dilution lowers concentration. Removing the liquor carries dissolved residues out of the system.

Understanding this distinction is fundamental to understanding rinsing.

Lower concentration is a step.
Residue removal is the goal.
