"Already this week the GOLDEN CARRIER, now registered under the flag of Cyprus, will set sail for the Med to undergo a quick refurbishment which has been projected by Piraeus-based Ath. Kopoukis S.T.A.D. S.A., a naval architects / marine engineers office with which A-Ships Management has been working with for a long time. The upgrade will take place in Greece and comprise modifications for Mediterranean operational requirements."

This year marked the first time where, beyond accepting the 2023 Retrofit of the Year Shippax award, we also actively participated in the Shippax Ferry Conference, in the Architects & Designers Panel, discussing how future sustainability in the Passenger Ferry Industry can be achieved through better design practices.
