Thanks to research in TransZeroWaste project we are developing new ways of recycling these materials in form of briquettes. The thermoplastic properties tests conducted in Łukasiewicz - Górnośląski Instytut Technologiczny have proven that newly developed briquettes can survive the temperatures required for direct reduction – a process that can drastically reduce carbon dioxide emissions and help us transform the steelmaking industry for a greener future.
