Antony brings with him a wealth of industry expertise see bio below..

Beginning my career with Delta Power building military and search and rescue vessels, I have since accumulated over 20 years’ experience across the marine sector. Following 16 years with the RNLI engineering department, I founded Neptune Marine Solutions, providing vessel refits, repairs, bespoke installations and through-life in-service support across the UK and Ireland, helping commercial and SAR operators keep their assets reliable, operational and mission ready.

Bit of Ai fun for one of the last posts of the year! It’s been a blast working with Independent SAR units around UK & Ireland, Border Force & Police this year! A few SRB services & transducer swaps to do before end of year and then 2026 to look forward to!
Special mention to Chris my wing man who puts up with my demands and quietly gets on with it with his head buried in lockers and places my old body can’t cope with!

Busy few days installing comms to tiller steer RIB and main RIB for SARA Sharpness,
We installed new Icom 510 radio which involved relocating devices on the console,
We installed wireless duplex comms fully integrated to VHF units on both vessels.
Thanks to Chris and the team for hospitality during install.

Emergency upgrade of plotter to comply with requirement to have SAR patterns!
Swapped out Garmin 7” plotter for new larger 9” plotter with search patterns and sort out of VHF antenna ( comms are only as good as the sum of the parts)
