Keeping on top of the cleaning schedule on your Rational is key to keeping it running optimally. One thing often missed is the air intake filter. The filters can quickly become blocked with grease and dust and should be cleaned out at least every couple of weeks. The SCC unit we took this filter out of was showing service errors for an overheating control PCB which can eventually lead to expensive component failure.
