Interplas starts tomorrow, and we're ready to go!

It's Nordell's first time exhibiting at the UK's no.1 plastics show, and we're looking forward to three days of conversations around injection moulding, tooling, production, and project support.

After five decades in tooling, this week we bid farewell to Adrian Kirkpatrick as he steps into retirement.

Adrian first qualified as a Toolmaker in 1975 and has brought skill, care, and experience to his work ever since. His contribution has been greatly appreciated by everyone at Nordell since he joined the team in 2024.

We'd like to wish Adrian all the very best for his retirement. Thank you, Adrian, and enjoy this well-earned next chapter! 🎉

The recent sunshine across the South of England has been putting our solar panels to work! 🌅

Over the last 7 days, we've generated 12.41 MWh of energy through solar. That's exactly equivalent to 100% of our energy use across the same period.

Energy is still used at different times of day, including when the sun isn't shining. But when we're generating more than we need, that excess energy goes back to the grid, helping to power local homes and businesses with clean energy.

A sunny week, put to very good use 🌞

Contamination control starts long before a part leaves the press.

It's shaped by process discipline at every stage of the moulding cycle, from material storage and drying to purging, tool changeovers, and controlled handling.

The toolroom is on the move as part of our latest facilities investment!

Work is underway to reconfigure one of our units, with the toolroom moving into a new setup and additional warehousing space being created.

The project is designed to improve flow across the site, create more usable space, and strengthen support for our manufacturing teams.

These changes are part of Nordell's continued investment in our toolroom, our facilities, and the way we keep improving production across the site.
