A brilliant day yesterday at the DNWP Market Engagement Event. CORE was represented by Craig Kenyon, John McGibbon, Paul Denwood and Ashton Hoban.

It was great to hear presentations from the Lot Delivery Partners, providing valuable insight into current priorities, future opportunities and the collaborative approach being taken across the programme.

The networking sessions throughout the day then provided an excellent opportunity to reconnect with existing partners and make introductions to new organisations across the supply chain.

A big thank you to iSH and Britain's Energy Coast Business Cluster for hosting.

CORE will be exhibiting at the DNWP Market Engagement event tomorrow at Energus, alongside many of our partners.

It's great to see the DNWP framework creating opportunities for engagement across the supply chain.

If you're attending, come and say hello to the team, we'd love to catch up and discuss how we can work together.

Yesterday our team attended the 10 years of the Sprints event at the Sellafield Ltd Centre of Engineering Excellence. It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the projects, ideas and collaborations that have delivered such a impact over the last decade.

CORE are proud to be involved in the Sprint programme and were delighted to attend representing the Resolve Engineered Solutions consortium, made up of CORE, Cumbria O&M Services Ltd (COMS), Forth Engineering (Cumbria) Ltd and React Engineering.

Resolve partners support the Sprint teams as they develop innovative ideas and progress their problem statements, working collaboratively to solve live engineering challenges across the Sellafield site and bring solutions to life.

A great event celebrating innovation and collaboration.

🎉 Congratulations Ian Ivison 🎉
Thank you to everyone who entered our May raffle and helped us to raise a total of £125 for our Charity of the Year, SANDS.

Every year, thousands of parents and families experience the heartbreak of pregnancy and baby loss, often without the support they need. SANDS is working to change that through the incredible care, guidance, and support they provide.

We chose to support this charity not only because of the important work they do, but because they have personally helped members of our team through some of life’s toughest moments.

Keep an eye out for more chances to get involved!

Today, we hosted this month’s BECBC Nuclear Sector event at our Crane Handling Facility in Egremont, marking the official opening of the site.

The facility offers 1,000m² of space, with 3t and 5t cranes, and capacity available for both project work and storage.

As always, it was a great BECBC event, with a strong turnout, good conversations, and plenty of engagement from across the sector.

A fantastic lineup of speakers representing key organisations across the nuclear industry including:

• John McGibbon – CORE Nuclear Group
• Sarah Williamson – Laing O'Rourke
• Malcolm Wall & Kevin Foley – TDA
• Teams from HOCHTIEF (UK), Costain Group PLC, and Morgan Sindall Infrastructure Sellafield Ltd.

A big thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making the event such a success.
