🌍💚 Happy World Environment Day!

Today at our Worcester, UK facility, we celebrated with the theme ‘Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future.’

From nature-inspired photos to a sea of green outfits, it’s been brilliant to see everyone’s passion for protecting our planet.

A huge thank you to everyone who submitted photos for our challenge — the creativity really shone through.

We’re reviewing all the amazing entries now and can’t wait to announce our winner soon. In the meantime, big shout-out to all of you who took part. 🌿

Tradycji stało się zadość! 🍦🎉

Jak co roku, w Dzień Dziecka nie mogliśmy odmówić sobie tej słodkiej przyjemności, jaką są lody. Dla naszego zespołu w Rzeszowie zorganizowaliśmy mały poczęstunek i chwilę wytchnienia od codziennych obowiązków.
Choć poranek nie rozpieszczał nas pogodą, popołudnie przywitaliśmy pięknym słońcem, które tylko dodało uroku wspólnie spędzonym chwilom.🌞
To właśnie takie spotkania budują zespół – dają przestrzeń do rozmów, wspólnego śmiechu i wzmacniania relacji poza codzienną pracą.😊

🏆 The Step Challenge results are in — and what a week it was!

This May, our teams across Poland, India, and the UK came together for our Walking Challenge, clocking a combined total of over 7.5 million steps. Seven. Point. Five. Million. 🤯

🥇 Facility Winner — Poland 🇵🇱
For the SECOND year in a row, our Poland team take the top spot — with an incredible 6,183,221 steps between them. They celebrated in the only appropriate way... smoothies all round! 🥤🌿 Absolutely phenomenal. Well done to every single person in that plant.

👟 Individual Winners:
🇵🇱 Poland — 216,524 steps
🇮🇳 India — 271,466 steps ⭐
🇬🇧 UK — 148,751 steps ⭐

These challenges are about so much more than steps. They're about wellbeing, moving more, and feeling better — together. 💚

Any excuse for us! We treated our teams across the UK and India to some biscuits today — because there's nothing better than enjoying a little moment together, no matter where in the world you are. 🫖

🏆 A truly incredible milestone today.

When Darren started with us at our Worcester facility 40 years ago, The Chicken Song by Spitting Image was number one in the charts, Liverpool had just won the league AND the FA Cup, and mobile phones were the size of a brick!

Four decades later, Darren is still here — a cornerstone of our Injection Moulding team and living proof that great people are the heartbeat of any great business.

Today, our MD and Operations Director for Europe had the pleasure of presenting Darren with a gift to mark this momentous occasion, alongside his long service award — which he'll be choosing for himself as a thank-you for everything he's given us over the years.

Congratulations, Darren. 40 years. Absolutely brilliant. 👏❤️

To był naprawdę intensywny tydzień w Southco Poland!

Świętowaliśmy Dni BHP w pracy - był to czas pełen wartościowych i ciekawych aktywności.
Rozpoczęliśmy od regeneracyjnych masaży, które pozwoliły nam dobrze wejść w tydzień. Następnie wzięliśmy udział w warsztatach z pierwszej pomocy, skupiających się głównie na urazach i krwotokach.
Z okazji Dnia Ziemi zorganizowaliśmy zbiórkę elektrośmieci – w zamian otrzymaliśmy vouchery, które później wymieniliśmy na zielone rośliny 🌱. Mieliśmy także okazję zobaczyć, przymierzyć i przetestować środki ochrony indywidualnej, takie jak okulary, rękawice czy maski ochronne.
W ramach działań związanych z bezpieczeństwem przeciwpożarowym uczestniczyliśmy w warsztatach, podczas których uczyliśmy się prawidłowego korzystania z gaśnicy, a także zalegalizowaliśmy nasze gaśnice samochodowe.

Dziękujemy naszym służbom BHP za świetną inicjatywę oraz ogrom praktycznej wiedzy, która na pewno zostanie z nami na długo! 👏

We never miss an excuse for a sweet treat here at Southco 😀🍬

Today at our Worcester, UK facility, we celebrated International Jelly Bean Day with an array of colourful sweets—and a little friendly competition! Our team took on the challenge of guessing how many jelly beans were in the jar… with the closest guess winning the jar itself 🎉

Safe to say there were plenty of smiles (and some very serious counting 👀).
