We love a blended approach to lithium warehouse equipment, which maximises quality and minimises cost 🛠

Over the last six months a customer of ours, who has been in business with us for more than 15 years required new and more forward thinking approaches to material and pallet transportation within their new factory.

This led us to proposing the benefits of such as the opportunity charging and zero requirements for battery maintenance, which caught their attention.

Since then, we have supplied several lithium reach and pallet trucks, as well as two lithium FB30 G2 Li-M counterbalance forklift trucks supporting their day to day operations.

Our trucks were recently featured on the BBC during a behind-the-scenes look at Fairfields Farm Crisps operation in , . 👨‍🌾

We are incredibly grateful to be chosen as Fairfields Farm's supplier for more than 30-years. Our forklift trucks assist operations on-site in the transportation, loading, and unloading of potatoes on a daily basis helping transport the 23,000 - 25,000 tonnes of potatoes produced every year.

Supported by 4 diesel D30's, 1 electric B18T, and 4 more electric B35X-7 PLUS forklift trucks, as well as our commitment to regular maintenance and servicing of these machines, we help ensure that Fairfields Farm stay in top form all year around to continue their operations non-stop.

We have recently had the opportunity to support a fantastic cause with many of the local community in Ipswich and Felixstowe supporting Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service (Felixstowe Fire Station).

Thank you to all those involved in helping raise £475 for a critical service to our local communities.

This week, we are celebrating the 10-year work anniversary of our superb operations manager, health and safety officer, transportation supervisor, our jack-of-all trades John Southern 🎉

Many of our customers and all of our staff have witnessed on a daily-basis, John's focused commitment to providing the very best Fork Truck Direct has to offer.

Without John, many of our important tasks and processes would not be completed as efficiently, and for that we thank you John for your continued hard-work over the last 10-years!

A windy day might effect us, but it certainly does not hinder the ability of this Heli 3-tonne forklift and it most definitely benefits this towering wind-turbine standing tall over CW Logistics sustainably powering their site at the Roy Humphries Estate in , . 🌪 ⚡

Over our 11-year partnership with CW Logistics, they have continued to develop and strengthen their commitments to the reduction of carbon emissions whilst increasing their reliance on renewable sources of energy production such as this massive wind-turbine which assists in powering site for it's day-to-day operations which include the charging of this brand-new Heli 3-Tonne forklift.

Delivered today, this forklift sports a fully-enclosed cabin, front & rear lights, and a powerful lithium battery. This counter balance forklift truck is another step forward in sustainable material handling practices for CW logistics.

We will be displaying one of these vehicles with equivalent specifications at features at our Suffolk Show stand (53) next week and, if you are interested, we urge you to come along and take a look for yourselves.

Another week, another 10-year work anniversary. This time for very own, Emma Wheate 🥇

An excellent team player, Emma is a woman of many talents and has performed in various roles across Fork Truck Direct during her time with us. If you have ever placed a call to us, 9/10 times it would have been Emma to take your call and many of our customers are extremely familiar with Emma's excellence. Not only does she recieve the most calls across the service department, she has 2 team members under her as our CFTS Thorough Examination Coordinator and is in charge of ensuring that all vehicles under our care - which number in the thousands - are correctly scheduled and inspected for safe use within the work place.

We'd like to say a big thank you and congratulations to Emma for her loyal 10-years of service to Fork Truck Direct and our customers!

Dave celebrated his 10-year FTD anniversary last week displaying a huge amount of commitment to the team and our valued customers that rely on Dave to get their kit back up and operational.

Yesterday, we delivered brand new -7 to Parker Building Supplies in as our collaborative effort between Fork Truck Direct, Triple R Engineering, and Independent Builders Merchant Group continues to grow. 👏

This B30X-7 is the first 4-wheeled electric counter balance to be delivered to the site signalling a shift away from carbon producing diesel forklifts to more material handling solutions. 🔋

Yesterday, we spent our down at one of our many true loves, Parker Building Supplies in St Leonards, ❤️

We delivered 2 brand-new Bobcat EMEA B30X-7's with all the bells and whistles replacing an old Doosan B30X-5 and one of our short-term hire vehicles. These two trucks will be working inside Parker Building Supplies to transport building material.

After a quick handover, some engaging conversation with the absolutely excellent Kris Reid, and a coffee, we were on the road again back to our HQ in .
