Patrick's MGTF has been coming to MGF Centre for a number of years. This is the standard of where we are up to with it. Paint refresh, across the bonnet and inner arches. we fitted the wheels and AP calipers last year. This year it was time for the shadow chrome finish. We have worked through the usual list of engine/underbody/new hood/stainless steel parts/Scorpion Exhaust. I believe leather interior is next on the list! Patrick is open to designs, so it will be interesting. Patrick will certainly be showing her off at POL.

Another beautiful transformation, using quality and design to create interiors worthy of an amazing car.
Kevin's car pictured has benefitted from having our extensive engine build package in 2021, now he's back with us for some much needed TLC - Mot, full cambelt service, healthcheck, polished headlights, clean up the hood, fit Comfort Speedster seats, 2 front wishbones, 2 subframe mounts. Going forward he will need a Scorpion exhaust (current exhaust is rotten, he's not being forced to have onešŸ˜), and the all important underbody treatment.

Newly restored VVC made it home to Shropshire and nothing fell off.
Lovely pic of both the early and the late models together. So lovely to see that Jane and Jonathan have 1 each now plus a 4X4, which is much needed for their semi-rural location.
JET the LE will be back in with us later this year for a cambelt service, and of course the obligatory roasting, all of my customers have come to love.... you know you do!!!

JT felt compelled to save one.
Jonathan Taylor and his wife Jane love their LE500 but seem to both want to drive at the same time, even though they have Land Rover too. Solution! Get another one.
MG is definitely in the blood for Jonathan, his father had the same passion for them.
Jonathan came across this early VVC and felt it was too good to be scrapped. Now sympathetically restored, Jane's main use for the MGF is travelling from their home in Shropshire to her beloved Wolves matches (JT does not attend).
Set up with Bilstein suspension and the stunning sound of the Scorpion exhaust. We also managed to find in our extensive parts stock some Mk1 half leather seats in oustanding condition, including matching door cards and steering wheel.
Amazing job as always, restoring and preserving the F & TF since 1998. We are always extremely proud of the cars we build and sell.
Jonathan hasn't seen her yet, hopefully he'll be along later in the week to collect.

The workshop were prepared and ready to build one of our well renowned interiors so our customer could drive home to Barnsley the next day.
Speedster seats and matching pods were fitted in 2021. The level of quality we build gave Geoff the bug to complete the rest of the interior.

Seat covers in our used interior stores.
Very few owners are in the 20's category. Harry who owns this TF is! We like to encourage their ownership by helping achieve results one step at a time. Harry has the sense to understand these cars do cost a certain amount to repair, especially with no history and no real investment been put in prior.
Earlier in the year the TF came in on a recovery truck from France, after a halted road trip, this was Harry's first introduction to us. He trusted our recommendations for all the repairs. Not once did he say "is it worth it". He is switched on and prepared to work through things with our advice.
With a lot of the maintenance taken care of we can move on to the cosmetics. The replacement covers gives Harry a new sense of pride in his MG that he really loves!! A great find and only Ā£90 to transform this interior for him.
Each time a car comes in we assess how we get to the best results with whatever budget we are given. It's not always brand new option only and throw all your money at it. Each one of our customers that we work with have different requirements but they are all here to get it done right the first time!!
