Time for a brake pad ( and disc ) change!

BMW and Mini DPF cleaning. We can machine clean the DPF without the need to remove the filter ( or replace the filter )

Pictures show a BMW 116D with a partially blocked DPF filter. Exhaust back pressure readings taken both before and after the service, we can see a dramatic reduction in back pressure as a result of the cleaning service. ( The pressure builds as the filter blocks, and then decreases as the filter is cleaned )

The soot mass of the filter also reduced dramatically from 46 grams to 8 grams post clean.

This service is done on site and is usually completed within 2 hours or less.

Change of opening hours,

Our new opening hours are now 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

We will be opening on every other Saturday from the 12th of September. Saturday appointments are strictly appointment only and must be booked in advance.

Air conditioning service, regas and clean. The AC on this 2015 320d felt cool, but not as cold as it should be. The system was fully regassed with 500 grams of gas, we only removed 395 grams of gas.

Air Conditioning systems lose a small amount of gas every year, this lowers the efficiency of the system. When did you last get your Air Con checked and gassed?

The AC on this vehicle is now as cold as ice ❄️❄️❄️

Mandatory MOT testing from August 1st.

Testing is be restarted following a period of exemption.

We are now back open, however for the safety of our staff and customers we do have a few changes to the "normal" service.

Reduced hours, initially we will open 9am-4pm and will be CLOSED on Saturdays.

All bookings are strictly by appointment only.

You will be given a drop off and a collection time for your vehicle, we ask that you try and adhere to these times to avoid multiple customers being on site at once.

The courtesy vehicles will not currently be made available.

There will be no waiting on site and we can not allow customers to use our onsite facilities.

Only 1 customer to drop off the car and collect the car ( ideally the same person where possible )

Only 1 customer in the reception area at any one time.

We will wipe down and disinfect the reception area regularly and we will wear fresh latex gloves when handling customers keys and working on vehicles.

We have been told from BMW that there may be a 2 day wait for some parts to be ordered, we ask for patience as this may mean some jobs take a longer to complete than normal.

After monitoring the situation over the last 7 days. We have made the difficult decision to close until further notice.

We will continue to monitor and follow government advice and hope to return to "normal" as soon as possible.

Coronavirus Update:

We have made the decision to remain open at this time. As an essential business we are here to keep you guys on the road should you need us.

We do have limitations at the moment however as our local BMW dealers have suspended parts deliveries to us, but we can still obtain many service parts, including filters, oils, radiators, brakes, clutch kits ect.

We have revised our opening hours from Monday the 30th.

Monday - Friday 09:00 - 13:00
Saturday and Sunday: Closed

If you do have a booking already with us outside of these revised hours we will contact you.

The best means to contact us outside of these hours is to fill out a form on the "contact us" page on our website and we will respond as quick as possible.

We will reassess the situation next week and continue to keep you updated.
