Glass making is an ancient process — but producing it has never been more challenging.

: This air separation unit (ASU) in Yantai, China, is part of a five-plant complex designed, built and operated by Linde, helping ensure a reliable supply of industrial gases to the chemical industry.

Linde’s Q2 2026 earnings report is now available.

For Q2, Linde posted:
- Sales of $9.3 billion, up 9% YoY
- Adjusted operating profit of $2.7 billion, up 7%
- Adjusted operating profit margin of 29.5%
- Adjusted EPS of $4.50, up 10% YoY
- 23.5% Return on capital
- Project backlog $11 billion

For Q3, the company expects adjusted diluted earnings per share in the range of $4.45 to $4.55, up 6% to 8% versus prior-year quarter.
