SOLD | 1976 Land Rover 101 Forward Control - LS3 Powered

Now sold - and not one we’ll forget in a hurry.

This 1976 Land Rover 101 Forward Control began life as a British Army gun tractor, built with a forward-control layout, 101-inch wheelbase and a clear focus on function over form.

This particular example added a twist. Power comes from a Chevrolet LS3 V8 paired with a GM 6L80E automatic gearbox, transforming it from something steady and utilitarian into something far more entertaining.

We’re delighted to have handled the sale of such a unique machine.

This customer-owned Bahama Gold 2 door bringing a bit of colour to the workshop recently. One of those shades that seems to make people stop and smile every time it comes through the doors.
