Contour Showers was established in 1959 as a family run business and was then known as Contour Doors originally manufacturing high quality sliding door equipment supplying major mail order catalogues, including Kays and Empire Stores, before moving into making folding doors for the domestic market. As Contour expanded production took another turn in 1983 with the manufacture of shower enclosures a
nd bath screens. In 1994 the company changed its name to Contour Showers and since the late 1990’s has specialised only in manufacturing shower trays and enclosures for the elderly and special needs market. Contour has two factories based in Winsford, Cheshire and Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, now employing approximately 60 people, many of whom have been with Contour since its early days.
