Been working on a new layered steel piece this week 🔥

Playing around with San Mai construction and really happy with how the core material is behaving during heat treat.

Still dialing in the grind geometry—loads more to come on this one.

Tried something a bit different in the forge this weekend—short, wide profile with a heavy spine.

Really interesting how the pattern came out after etching. Still learning a lot with layered steels.
