“My gas boiler is 30kW. How can a 12kW electric boiler be enough?”

It’s one of the most common questions we hear, and the answer isn’t as simple as comparing the numbers.

A gas combi needs a lot of its power to heat hot water instantly. An electric combi such as the Elektra Smart.BPC works differently, combining a 12kW output with built-in hot water storage.

For the right 2–3 bedroom home, that can mean the heating and hot-water performance you need without requiring the same headline kW rating.
