Manufacturing that does what it should – every time
In electronics manufacturing, consistency matters just as much as innovation.
At NOTE UK, our focus is on:

Stable, proven manufacturing processes
Clear work instructions on the shop floor
Trained, experienced teams who know our customers’ products inside out
Quality checks built into every stage, not added on at the end

This is how we help customers reduce risk, protect supply, and scale with confidence - whether they’re building low volumes or ramping up fast.

Reliable manufacturing isn’t about cutting corners.
It’s about doing the right things, the same way, every day.

Medtech innovation is accelerating - and so are the opportunities.

From connected diagnostics to wearable monitoring and advanced imaging systems, today’s medical devices are redefining what’s possible in patient care.

Turning those ideas into reliable, scalable products takes more than great design.

It takes precision, control and the right manufacturing partner.
At NOTE, we support medtech companies across the entire product lifecycle - helping bring innovation to market with confidence:

Early DfM and test strategy to enable right-first-time outcomes

Fast, controlled prototyping and NPI to keep development moving

Secure, fully traceable component sourcing

High-reliability manufacturing and system integration

Ongoing lifecycle and aftermarket support

And critically - we operate to the standards medtech demands.
Our UK capabilities include ISO 13485-certified production at NOTE Basildon and Kasdon Electronics, a NOTE company, ensuring the quality, traceability and process control required for regulated medical devices.

The result? Confidence at every stage.

Confidence your product will perform.
Confidence it will scale.
Confidence it meets the standards that matter — every time.

If you’re developing the next generation of medical technology, let’s talk.

Growth in electronic contract assembly isn’t about adding more lines.

It’s about:

Capability, not just capacity
Skilled people, not just headcount
Confidence that your partner can scale with you, not slow you down

As products become more complex and demand more volatile, the real differentiator is what sits behind the production line.

Great to see STI at DPRTE this week — and even more exciting to now welcome them as part of NOTE.

With NOTE’s recent acquisition of STI, this is an important step in strengthening our position in the UK defence electronics market and expanding our capability in high-reliability, mission-critical manufacturing.

DPRTE is always a valuable opportunity to connect with the sector, understand current priorities, and have meaningful conversations around resilience, compliance and trusted delivery.

STI has built a strong reputation supporting critical defence programmes, and together we are even better placed to support customers with the scale, quality and technical capability this sector demands.

A strong week, a strong team, and an exciting next chapter.

NOTE strengthens its position in defence with the acquisition of STI

We’re pleased to announce that NOTE has acquired STI Enterprises Holdings Limited – a leading UK-based EMS partner specialising in advanced, mission-critical solutions for the defence industry.

This is a significant step forward for NOTE. STI brings:
• Deep expertise across air, land, cyber and marine defence domains
• Long-standing relationships with leading global defence customers
• High-technology manufacturing capabilities including advanced PCBA, box build and testing
• Two established UK sites in Hook and Poynton

With ~300 employees and expected revenues of ~GBP 60 million in 2026, STI strengthens our position in the strategically important Security & Defence segment and expands our UK manufacturing footprint.

This acquisition enhances our ability to support high-reliability, complex electronics programmes and creates new opportunities for long-term, sustainable growth across Europe.

We look forward to welcoming the STI team to NOTE and building the future together.

Quality isn’t something you inspect at the end of manufacturing.
It’s something you engineer into the process from the start.

In electronics manufacturing, reliability depends on more than assembly capability. It requires a clear test strategy, structured inspection and full product traceability throughout the manufacturing journey.

At NOTE, our teams integrate testing and process control from early production through to scalable volume manufacturing. This helps customers reduce risk, strengthen compliance confidence and achieve dependable right-first-time delivery.

The result? Products that perform as expected — and manufacturing programmes that stay on schedule.

If you’re reviewing your manufacturing test strategy or quality processes, we’d be pleased to share how our teams approach it across our UK facilities.

Let’s start the conversation — or arrange a site visit.

From PCB to Product: Why Integrated Box Build Matters

In electronics manufacturing, success isn’t just about assembling a PCB. It’s about delivering a fully integrated, reliable product ready for deployment.

That’s where integrated box build becomes critical.

By bringing together electromechanical assembly, harnessing, configuration, functional testing, and documentation under one coordinated process, manufacturers can reduce risk, improve traceability, and streamline the journey from PCB to finished product.

The benefits are significant:

✔ Stronger quality control across the entire build
✔ Shorter lead times and simplified supply chains
✔ Improved product reliability through integrated testing
✔ Full lifecycle traceability for complex systems

Modern EMS partners increasingly manage complete system integration, including enclosure assembly, cable harnessing, firmware loading, functional test, and final product validation.

The result? A smoother path from engineering design to scalable production.

If you're developing complex electronics and looking to simplify your manufacturing journey, integrated box build can make a real difference.
