We are now just a few weeks away from the start of September and that only means one thing for us, Moreton Show.

Still as ever, the first Saturday of September, this year the 5th, we will be there again in our usual spot showing off some of the latest products from a range of the manufacturers we work with. We are stand 73 in the Countryside, Agriculture & Commercial zone.

And if that isn’t enough for you, 5 days later on the 10th we hop on down the Fosse Way to Calmsden Farms who are kindly hosting the Gloucestershire Root Fruit & Grain Society tillage event.

We will be there with some of the team from AMAZONE Ltd. demonstrating some of their newest machines, be sure not to miss out on that!

It’s great to see you all at these events, so make sure you come along as you never know what you might see.

We’ve been out in the last couple of weeks demonstrating the AMAZONE Ltd. Topcut 6000-2.

This 6 meter machine is an ultra shallow cultivator which has two small diameter knife rollers with three rows of 14mm double harrow tines.

For the use as we’ve been showing on stubble for the aid of mechanical w**d control, which better results can be found after extra passes, and also the added benefit of aiding in water retention before the drilling of the next cash or catch crop.

Another purpose of this machine is to help in the destruction of cover crops. With the potential lack of chemical assistance going forwards this is a real weapon to have in your armoury.

🔴Used Massey Monday🔴

Today we have delivered this used Massey Ferguson 6715S that we have sourced for a local trust.

The main job of this tractor will be topping gorse with a Teagle EFX/MD200 on some common ground. We have also utilised a belly plate off their old tractor to help protect the underside of the tractor from all of the harsh foliage that the tractor will be working around.

The tractor also has, Dyna4 transmission, front linkage and PTO, front spool, front and cab suspension, twin pump hydraulics, and the best part, at 7 years old this tractor has only done 1700hrs!

Today we’ve been out and delivered this Bunning Spreaders Lowlander 120 TVA Mk4 muck spreader.

This is the customers third Bunning spreader, replacing his original 105 and joining an existing 120, trusting in the British build quality, reliability and performance of what his previous two machine have offered.
