Been out last week demoing the AMAZONE Ltd. Cayena 6001-2 last week, drilling winter barley at 190kg/ha into some cultivated ground, the customer is already seeing the higher efficiency rates in the Cayena from his existing drill.

With its leading disc this tine drill isn’t just suited to cultivated ground but will also drill direct into stubble or a cover crop making it a very universal drill to suit various conditions and systems.

Interested in trying the Cayena, let us know and we can show you the benefits of this drill.

It’s not always about this big new shiny kit.

Sometimes we have tractors of a slightly different vintage available.

Today we offer you the opportunity to own a low houred, tidy MF 3065, and they don’t come up like this very often.

Visit the used tractor section of our website to find out more information on this little gem.

We are now just a few weeks away from the start of September and that only means one thing for us, Moreton Show.

Still as ever, the first Saturday of September, this year the 5th, we will be there again in our usual spot showing off some of the latest products from a range of the manufacturers we work with. We are stand 73 in the Countryside, Agriculture & Commercial zone.

And if that isn’t enough for you, 5 days later on the 10th we hop on down the Fosse Way to Calmsden Farms who are kindly hosting the Gloucestershire Root Fruit & Grain Society tillage event.

We will be there with some of the team from AMAZONE Ltd. demonstrating some of their newest machines, be sure not to miss out on that!

It’s great to see you all at these events, so make sure you come along as you never know what you might see.

We’ve been out in the last couple of weeks demonstrating the AMAZONE Ltd. Topcut 6000-2.

This 6 meter machine is an ultra shallow cultivator which has two small diameter knife rollers with three rows of 14mm double harrow tines.

For the use as we’ve been showing on stubble for the aid of mechanical w**d control, which better results can be found after extra passes, and also the added benefit of aiding in water retention before the drilling of the next cash or catch crop.

Another purpose of this machine is to help in the destruction of cover crops. With the potential lack of chemical assistance going forwards this is a real weapon to have in your armoury.

For more information on the Amazone Topcut or anything else in the Amazone range, please get in touch in the usual ways.

We’ve been really pleased with the positive customer feedback we’ve had so far from the SIP products we have sold over the last couple of years, whether that’s been mowers, tedders or rakes.
