🚐 TALK ABOUT RIGHT PLACE, RIGHT TIME! 😂👏

Who said we only work on caravans and motorhomes? Apparently, we do cars now too! 🤣🚗

Whilst out and about running errands in the van, we noticed a member of the public having a bit of trouble with their car.

Just as we were getting back into the van, we heard that dreaded noise… the car had fallen off the jack with the wheel off! 😳

Naturally, we went straight over to see if they needed a hand.

Jordan got straight to work, hooked up the air jack, safely lifted the car, and helped get things sorted so the owner could get the wheel back on. 💪🔧

The couple were incredibly grateful, and it was a lovely reminder that sometimes being in the right place at the right time can make all the difference. ❤️

It also goes to show that Jordan really is a man of many talents, with a huge amount of kindness and a willingness to help anyone who needs it!

Hopefully, we won’t encounter any more roadside dramas like this anytime soon! 😂 But if we do, and we’re in the van, we’ll always lend a helping hand where we safely can — no matter the vehicle!

Every family business has someone secretly in charge.

At H&T, that's our youngest team member.

Responsibilities include:
🚜 Vehicle inspections
🧸 Workshop toy distribution
🍪 Snack quality control
💤 Refusing naps at inconvenient times
🫶 Reminding us why we work so hard.

Whilst not yet qualified to carry out damp repairs, he's already mastered the art of telling everyone what they're doing wrong.

We suspect management is in his future.

Senior Engineer, Damp Repair Specialists and Workshop Zen Master

Meet John!

Officially, John is our Senior Engineer.

Unofficially, he's the workshop's source of wisdom, calm and the occasional philosophical discussion when everyone else is trying to work out what's for lunch.

When it comes to woodwork, John's craftsmanship is second to none. The man can create repairs that look like they've always been part of the caravan.

Fun facts:
🪵 Woodwork is his speciality, and the results speak for themselves
🐌 Believes every job should be done properly, even if it takes a little longer
❓ Can ask 3 questions about a job he already knows the answer to
🧘‍♂️ Brings calm, steady energy to the workshop every day
🚐 Might not remember which caravan was in last week, but he'll remember exactly how to repair it.

Favourite phrase:
"Just one question.."

Which is rarely just one question.

Every workshop needs someone who keeps everyone grounded, and at H&T, that's John. His experience, craftsmanship and calm approach make him an important part of the team and we're very lucky to have him.
