🔧 AUDI S3 – MOT FAILURE REPAIRS! 🚗

We were out in Wem today getting this Audi S3 sorted after it failed its MOT! 👨‍🔧

✅ Broken rear suspension spring removed
✅ New rear spring fitted
✅ Rear wheel bearing replaced
✅ Components torqued to specification
✅ Reassembled and road tested

The old spring had snapped at the end, commonly known as the pigtail, which caused the MOT failure and could potentially allow the spring to become dislodged!

🚐 The best part? All repairs were carried out at the customer’s location!

No need to arrange recovery or take the vehicle to a garage. We came to them and got the repairs sorted! 💪

🔧 FORD FIESTA – COOLING FAN REPLACEMENT! 🚗

This Ford Fiesta came in with a very noisy cooling fan, particularly when the air conditioning was switched on or the engine reached temperature! 👨‍🔧

After investigating, we found the fan bearing had failed, causing the excessive noise.

✅ Fault diagnosed
✅ Old cooling fan removed
✅ Electrical components transferred
✅ New cooling fan fitted
✅ Everything reassembled and ready to go

Not every fault is electrical! Sometimes it’s simply a mechanical component wearing out over time.

🔧 AUDI S5 – FRONT DISCS & PADS + REAR PADS! 🚗

This Audi S5 came into the workshop for some much-needed brake maintenance! 👨‍🔧

✅ New front brake discs & pads
✅ New rear brake pads
✅ Rear brakes taken out of service mode
✅ Braking components checked

The rear pads were extremely low, but luckily we caught them just in time, saving the customer the expense of replacing the rear discs too! 💪

The front discs were heavily worn and lipped, so we replaced both discs and pads to help prevent issues such as brake squeal and vibration.

Catching worn brakes early can save you money on bigger repairs! 🔧

🔧 VAUXHALL ASTRA – OIL LEAK REPAIR! 🚗

This Vauxhall Astra came in with an oil leak, which we diagnosed as a worn rocker cover gasket! 👨‍🔧

✅ Oil leak diagnosed
✅ Old rocker cover gasket removed
✅ New gasket fitted
✅ Engine run and checked for leaks
✅ Vehicle ready to return to the customer

Over time, rubber gaskets can become hard and brittle, causing oil to escape. On this Astra, oil was leaking directly onto the exhaust manifold!

With the new gasket fitted and no further leaks found, it’s ready to go back to the customer! 💪
