Topspeed Automotive acquires US Automotive to form UKโs largest American parts distributor.
We are delighted to announce that Topspeed Automotive has entered into an agreement to purchase US Automotive, a premier supplier of high-quality parts for American vehicles.
US Automotive, based in Bedford, have been providing parts, advice and encouragement to enthusiasts and restorers over the last 28 years. Synonymous with American themed racing, they were the exclusive supplier of race cars and parts for the ASCAR series that raced on the Rockingham oval track near Corby. They also have a huge pedigree in supporting teams in historic American racing, particularly Mustangs, Falcons, Galaxies and Cobras and the brand has been a prominent supporter of racing at Santa Pod.
Topspeed Automotive, based in Wellingborough, has been trading for over 50 years under both its own and the CM Frost brand, specialising in American car and truck parts, both standard and speed performance, for applications ranging from hot-rod and muscle cars through to drag race car components. Over recent years, this has expanded into automotive chemicals, oils and freight to complement the original business and is wholly supported by its sister company, Topspeed LLC, based in Dallas, Texas.
With this acquisition, Topspeed Automotive becomes the largest provider of standard and performance parts in this marketplace and the synergies of these two businesses are obvious.
Customers of both companies can expect uninterrupted service throughout the transition. Over the coming months, we will fully integrate US Automotiveโs offerings into our platform, but from today we will be striving to maintain the high level of support both businesses are known for, and we look forward to welcoming US Automotiveโs customers to the new organisation.
