One engine out so we can find out it problems

The weekend was a mixed bag of highs and lows, we initially struggled with noise regulations. We were finally allowed to go out in qualifying to do our 3 laps to qualify for the race. Jon went hot straight from the start and set an impressive time on lap 3 which secured pole position for the race. However on lap 4 he was a bit too hot and had a mild visit into the gravel.
We repaired the damage to the front splitter and removed what seemed to be a never ending supply of gravel.
So to race one on Sunday, unfortunately the sound deadening fitted to get us within the noise limit reduced our power so Jon slipped down the order from P1 to P4 and eventually had to retire the car after loss of oil pressure and only running on 3 cylinders.
We were unable to fix the car for race 2 but the weekend showed that the car has great potential to break the 50 sec barrier next year.
Big Thank you to everyone that helped get the car on track.
