BIG MOVES FOR SS✅

We’ve officially taken on our biggest, busiest and highest profit-earning contract to date and the whole yard is moving. Every corner, every bay and every team is working on different parts of this major project as we gear up for what’s set to be a huge run into 2027.

From fabrication to install preparation, the workload is full throttle and the atmosphere in the yard says it all.

Keep following our journey… this is only the beginning.

GUNWHARF QUAYS👖

We have carried out alterations in the old GUESS store to open up the shop floor to create a new LEVI’S store.

We removed the existing cross bracing from the middle bay and relocating it into the next bay.

This involved breaking out the existing concrete around the columns, drilling & bolting new fixing points into position, before refitting and fully welding the bracing back into place.✅

BRISTOL RD🏚️

Full internal strip out underway ready for major structural alterations.

✅Existing load bearing walls removed and propped throughout.
Installation of new structural steel framework to create large open plan living areas and support the new rear extension.

✅Multiple steels fabricated, supplied & installed with temporary works carried out safely and methodically on site throughout each stage of the project.

We have been called to a local job today and this is what we found!!

A Walkway being held up with expanding foam‼️

No structural support
No load bearing
No longevity

Just a failure waiting to happen…………..🚩

We see this all too often shortcuts that end up costing more when they inevitably give way.

AIN’T NO STOPPING US🔥

Starting the week strong.

Shaun is in the workshop today, locked in on bespoke fabrication where precision meets experience.

Specialising in forming & shaping. Using a propane cutting torch, a method often referred to as heat bending.

This technique allows us to manipulate steel with accuracy, creating custom curves.

MIXED BAG 💼

Various different jobs have been happening in & outside the yard the past 10 days!

The team have met demands and worked well in gangs delivering outstanding graft across the board.

House extensions underway, new roof RSJs going in, balconies and staircases taking shape, bespoke gates in fabrication, deliveries rolling out, and welding burning all day on the yard.

On top of that, fresh bespoke designs landing in locked in for the next run of work.
