🚗✨ We're excited to announce that Somerset Automotive is now offering professional off vehicle DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) cleaning.

We’re proud to be one of the first garages to bring this advanced service to West Somerset.

Your DPF is a key part of your diesel vehicle’s emissions system. It captures and stores soot from the exhaust to reduce harmful emissions. Over time, it can become blocked, leading to warning lights, reduced performance, poor fuel economy and potentially costly repairs.

Our new specialist equipment allows us to remove the DPF from the vehicle and carry out a deep, controlled clean, restoring it as close to factory condition as possible. This is far more effective than in tank additives or forced regenerations and often saves customers thousands compared to full DPF replacement.

We, as a team, are heartbroken by the tragic incident that has deeply affected our community this week. Many of us are parents with children in the Beacon Trust, and we know some of the families impacted. Our thoughts are with everyone involved.
