Uniforest Titan 40/20 Demonstration
Last week’s demonstration of the Uniforest Titan 40/20 for a large firewood producer in the south of the UK showed how effectively the machine handled difficult timber while reinforcing its commercial value in a busy production setting.
Demonstration Overview
Last week we did a demonstration of the Uniforest Titan 40/20 for a large Firewood producer in the south of the UK. Over many years they have grown their business investing in the best firewood machinery at the time.
Given the opportunity to take a Uniforest Titan 40/20 and timber deck, we arrived unloaded and was processing within the hour.
The customers operators loaded the deck, with timber they have issues with, knarly cone split lengths, small diameter that really did not need to be split, twisted pieces that made donkeys legs look straight, knotty oak and finally some maximum diameter Oak.
The deck load of all sorts was processed in the hour, with a chainsaw required only once to remove a fork branch.
Customer Feedback
• “That is the first firewood processor demonstration that has made me smile — what a machine!”
• “I can’t believe how easily it fed the cone-split sections. Our existing machine would need two people on the machine just to get it in.”
• “Best build quality I’ve seen.”
• “Our machine would not have processed half of that, and the Uniforest not only processed it, but processed it with ease.”
Final Reflection
On the drive home, I found myself thinking about why I still enjoy processing firewood so much. I’ve been doing it since my early teens, and it still gives me a real buzz. Processing perfect timber at speed is satisfying, but there is something even more rewarding about turning low-grade, awkward timber — the kind every yard pushes into a corner — into quality firewood.
Creating a saleable product with stronger margins while clearing valuable yard space makes it a genuine win-win.
