BMW M4 Track Toy Build

Another long-term customer and good friend has added a new toy to the garage – this BMW M4.

During our initial inspection, we found early signs of oil leakage from both the valve cover assembly and oil sump area. The engine mounts and gearbox mounts were also showing clear signs of ageing and deterioration, so rather than simply replacing worn components, we decided to take the opportunity to refresh and upgrade the car properly.

The work includes:
• Valve cover replacement
• Oil sump leak rectification
• Engine mounts replacement
• Gearbox mounts replacement
• Hardrace suspension and chassis upgrades
• Full inspection and setup before returning the vehicle to the track

Many performance cars reach a stage where maintenance and upgrades should go hand in hand. Addressing issues early not only improves reliability but also restores the driving experience that these cars were designed to deliver.

The wait is finally over.

Our carbon fibre bonnet scoops for the Nissan GT-R R35 (2007–2024) are back in production after being unavailable for several months.

The previous moulds have now been fully retired, and this latest batch has been produced from completely new tooling for improved consistency, sharper finish quality and cleaner overall fitment.

First batch dispatch starts next week, with continuous weekly production and delivery following shortly after.

Another loyal customer back at 4SRC for a cooling system upgrade on their Nissan GT-R R35.

After more than 10 years of service, the original radiator had started showing signs of leakage — something we commonly see on ageing GT-Rs, especially on cars running increased power over the years. Rather than waiting for a bigger issue to happen, the customer decided it was the right time to upgrade to a KOYO radiator for improved reliability and cooling performance.

As these cars continue to age, preventative maintenance becomes just as important as performance modifications. Keeping the cooling system in proper condition is essential for both fast road and high-performance use.
