Finishing the week with a serious bit of floor prep! 💪

This 2,000m² project with Abacus Flooring Solutions needed to be prepared ready for a 6mm PU screed — but standard grinding wasn’t going to create enough of a key.

Enter the NFE Spartan Floor Planer. 👊

Shallow grooves were created across the surface, with the depth carefully controlled to provide the required key without removing more concrete than necessary or increasing the amount of screed needed.

Once prepared, the 6mm PU screed was applied, followed by yellow line markings and freshly painted bund walls.

Because you all loved the Husqvarna Floor Saw last time, we thought we’d treat you to another one in action! 😏

This time, Culcheth Brickworks put the Saw to work at the former Quench Café in Culcheth, which is being converted into a new dental surgery. 🦷

The job involved precision cutting a channel through the existing concrete floor, ready for pipework to be installed to supply the compressor for the dentist chairs.

Clean, controlled and accurate cutting made the Husqvarna Floor Saw the perfect choice for the job.

You could say it really got to the root of the problem… 🦷😂

The NFE 7700 Ride-On Floor Scraper out on site with Kinetic Demolition at the Land Rover showroom in Perth.
