A special visit to a place that feels like home. 🇬🇷

Our founder Rob, together with Angus Kemp and the extended family, recently stopped by Spilla Taverna in Spartochori, Meganisi. Jerry and his family have been welcoming us for over 20 years, and every visit reminds us why this taverna remains a firm family favourite.

From incredible local food to genuine Greek hospitality, Spilla Taverna has been part of so many cherished memories over the years. Thank you, Jerry and his late brother Steve for many happy memories and to Jerry for another wonderful evening—we look forward to many more.

ANNOUNCEMENT : 5TH MARCH 2026

To our Customers,

Regretfully, we are in the process of winding down our loft in Endeavour Quay, due to rising costs and the changing nature of how people buy it is become uneconomic to continue to run our two sites. Our last day will be the 13th March 2026.

After this date items can be collected (by arrangement) from our storage unit in the yard there, as has been the case since we moved in: we usually ask for around a week’s notice so we can plan our drops en-route.

We will continue to offer an at-least-weekly van service to the community in Gosport in the same way we have for many years, as well as to our store in Swanwick, and appointments elsewhere by arrangement too. Items can also be collected from our main loft in Wareham where tea and a peek around is also offered!

We’ll look forward to hearing from you soon.

Commodores Challenge 2025.

Today marks the 31st edition of this iconic match race, where talented under‑18 sailors from neighbouring clubs — Poole Yacht Club and Parkstone Yacht Club — go head‑to‑head in a fiercely contested showdown on the water.

For almost a decade, Kemp Sails has proudly supported the event by providing matching sails for the boats generously loaned by their owners for the day. It’s our way of helping ensure a truly level playing field and celebrating the next generation of sailors.

If you're local and want to catch some of the action, racing will be taking place to the North East of Brownsea Island, with great viewing opportunities from both land and sea. If you catch some of the action tag us in your storeys.
