Our older Sweet Chestnut stock, felled about 15 years ago, grown in Purbeck and milled about 6 months ago, the last logs from about 12 tonnes of log.
These aint the best, but still some good timber in there, so we are selling these off to make space at half price!
About 20 boards left. Great for shelves or cutting up for bench slats etc.

Possibly the nicest sweet chestnut boards we have ever had! 3.3m long, up to nearly 600mm wide and around 30mm thick, sawn finish.
Lovely and flat, kiln dried and various widths.
Otherwise known as 'Poor Mans Oak', this beautiful English timber is perfect for worktops, cabinet making, shelves and floorboards.
Similar to oak in many ways its a cost effective alternative.
