We’ve been given a rare chance to help advertise a complete, fully serviceable Pettit Supercharger kit for the RX‑8. These kits are extremely hard to find and remain one of the best low boost upgrades for owners wanting a meaningful bump in performance.

The kit needs a bit of a clean and perhaps some paint but these can look great with some TLC.

The kit belongs to a customer, but it’s currently located at our unit for viewing and or collection.

Another batch of mid pipes completed! 🔥

The first batch of 10 catted mid pipes sold out entirely through pre-orders, and we only have a couple left from this batch. Here we have 8 CATs and 2 resonated DeCATs

All units feature our new custom resonator design, packed with high-temperature ceramic material to withstand the extreme heat generated by rotaries.

We’ll be looking at putting together another batch soon for general sale, so keep an eye out if you missed out on the first run.

Turbo kit manifold progress update! 👌

The machining is coming out great and everything is still on track. These are shaping up nicely, and we’re still looking good for a late July release.

Another RX‑8 from Germany 🇩🇪 in for the full RRP treatment 🔧 — this time an R3 that was well overdue some TLC.

In the first post you’ll see a video 🎥 showing the oil residue left inside the sump during disassembly. The oil injectors were completely clogged and the entire engine full of carbon.

This engine received:

🔧 Street‑Ported Rebuild
🧼 Extensive cleaning & preparation
🔧 Painting & coated hardware for better appearance and long‑term protection

It also received an S1 heatshield as an upgrade something we can't offer now as Mazda has recently discontinued the heatshields (We are looking to it!).

We haven’t posted an engine rebuild for a while, but a tidy 192 Auto from Germany recently came in for the full RRP treatment 🇩🇪🔧

This build consisted of:

🔩 Full street‑ported engine rebuild — porting makes a huge difference on the 192 platform.
🛠️ Upgraded stationary bearings — our standard on all 192 builds. allowing safe, higher RPMs.
🛢️ RRP Billet Sump.
⚡ RRP Ignition Coils + new leads.
❄️ New engine radiator — OEM units are always tired by this age and in most cases in need of replacement.
🔧 Husbandry & additional restoration work.

📸 In the pictures you’ll also spot a customer review, which is always great to see — nothing better than the owner’s reaction when their rotary gets a proper new lease of life.
