It is extremely common for us to see Esprit headlamp pods with blocked drain holes. As you can see on this particular car, the holes are blocked in both pods and there is clear evidence of water not being able to drain from the pod and the lamps are then submerged in water.

We highly recommend regularly lifting the pod by undoing it from the lifting mechanism and cleaning the drain hole and whole pod of debris. This ensures your headlamps stay in great condition.

We would like to inform our customers that new Strong Customer Authentication regulations are coming into force in the UK, with a 'ramp up' of authentications required from 18 January 2022. This is being implemented for your online safety.

Please read the below message carefully and be aware that online services may prompt you for additional security steps before processing a transaction online with us and many other online retailers.

What do the regulations do?

Designed to protect consumers, Strong Customer Authentication regulations mean customers may need to authenticate (prove their identity) when paying online, using two or more pieces of information:
- Something they know (e.g. a password)
- Something they have (e.g. their mobile device)
- Something they are (e.g. their fingerprint)

The regulations will fully take effect on 14 March 2022, but UK card issuers are already starting to require authentication for some transactions now, with a rapid ‘ramp-up’ from 18 January 2022.

Every business that accepts online card payments will be subject to these regulations.

If a checkout is not ready, it risks:
Loss of online sales – customers abandoning or being declined at checkout
Loss of customers – to more secure competitors
Reduced customer satisfaction – due to increased friction and payment declines.

We would like to thank customers for using our service and we would like to re-iterate that we take your online safety and security very seriously. Our shop payment systems have already been upgraded to reflect this change and you will see this additional step in our checkout procedure if your bank/card issuer is part of this security change.
