From me and mine at The Burger Van 🍔💛
Usually, we’re here serving up burgers—but in our spare time, me and my family have taken the lovely Mr Burns out of retirement and together we have set up Becca’s Brew Bar outside school on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. It’s something very close to our hearts.
Becca, aswell as being a Mummy, is one of my daughter’s teachers. She’s just 26 years old and has been diagnosed with stage 4 terminal astrocytoma brain cancer. She’s having to travel to Germany for treatment and fund the treatment herself, as sadly this isn’t available on the NHS.
When I first read about Becca being poorly out loud at home, my little girl said, “she’s a really lovely, fun teacher Mum.” That moment is what made us start thinking of how we could help.
With the support of other amazing parents buying hot chocolates, teas and coffees aswell as donating supplies, Becca’s Brew Bar has raised £1180 so far 🙌
Now we’re asking our Burger Van family if you can help us take it a little further.
