Following a winter suspension refresh, this 996 GT3 came in for a full geometry setup.

With the owner mainly enjoying B-road drives and the occasional European tour, I focused on a balanced road-biased setup that delivers predictable handling across a variety of road conditions.

A great example of how the right geometry can transform the way a car feels and performs.

1998 Porsche 911 (996 C2) 😮‍💨

The last time I worked on this car, I couldn’t achieve the correct rear toe settings due to the original eccentric adjusters being worn. Matt opted to fit adjustable rear toe arms, which worked a treat and allowed me to get everything set up correctly.

H&R anti-roll bars were fitted prior and I adjusted them accordingly to suit the type of driving the car is used for.

BMW F87 M4

Car came in with a rattle and straight away I noticed the droplinks were way too long and actual fouling on the lower arm in droop causing some witness marks.

The spherical joints were also shot so I replaced them for Nitron units which are by far the best bang for buck on the market with fully sealed rod ends.

Uprated rear subframe bolts installed with new pinch bolts

Full spanner check carried out

The Panda Express 🚂

By far one of the coolest home built cars to visit the shop and probably the shortest wheel base by far.

Rolling in at 700kg dry weight this thing packs a punch, built by the fellas at 😮‍💨

Got the geometry dialled in, and looked into what could be done with the suspension moving forward.

Always a blast working on cars like this and it’s a privilege the owner brought it to me to work on 👌
