• Pump, mix or do both simultaneously with F 426
• Switchable mixing ports for in drum agitation or drum emptying

𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗮 𝗽𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗱𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗽𝘂𝗺𝗽 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀? 🤔

A pneumatic drum pump operates by using compressed air to drive a vane motor, which in turn, powers the pump to transfer liquids from a drum or barrel. The rotational force from the motor is transmitted to the pump via the motor driver and mating pump coupling, ensuring efficient, safe fluid transfer every time. 💧

At Flux, we offer two types of drum pumps: 𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘶𝘨𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘺. Our F 416 Ex air motors can reach speeds up to 10,000 RPM. When paired with an F 400 centrifugal pump, the air motor transfers drive directly to the pump shaft, spinning the impeller at the same high speed. This creates centrifugal force, efficiently moving liquid up the pump tube and out through the discharge port. These pumps deliver high flow rates with low viscosity fluids. 🚀

In contrast, pneumatic progressive cavity drum pumps are suitable for high viscosity fluids. They operate at much lower speeds, typically between 200 and 1,000 RPM, allowing time for slow moving fluids to flow into the pump cavity. If using the F 416 Ex air motor with our F 570 pump, a gearbox is required to reduce rotational speed.

Alternatively, for very high viscosity or adhesive media, you can use the high torque FPM series motor with an F 580 pump. As the FPM motors run at lower speeds, a gearbox is not required. You may need to throttle the air supply to achieve the ideal speed for your application (

• F 310 model with ceramic-oxide mechanical seal, for handling solids-entrained and crystallising media

• F 314 seal-less model with unique spiral shaft support bearing for pure, non-crystallising fluids

Each pump has a robust Hastelloy C driveshaft and ETFE impeller, engineered for long-lasting performance in corrosive environments, especially when handling acids, alkalis and oxidising liquids. ⚗️

The S1-rated FEM 3070 motor is suitable for continuous operation. Adjustable speed control lets you tailor flow rates for precise dispensing. Both 230 V and 110 V models are available. 🔧💧
