What a fantastic day and evening we had yesterday at the ACS (the Association of Convenience Stores) The Boparan Charitable Trust event in honour of Raj Aggarwal at The Belfry.

The event brought together some of the best people from across our industry for a great cause, with a day full of golf, networking, cocktail making and fundraising. We were honoured to sponsor the evening dinner.

A particular highlight was seeing so many businesses and individuals coming together to support this charitable event. Events like these are a reminder of the positive impact our industry can have when we work together.

Thank you to everyone involved in organising such a memorable event, and congratulations to Darragh “The Menace” Ennis for hosting a brilliant quiz to round off the day.

So good to see Jiselta Convenience Store Premier Stores installing 8 DoubleCOOL doors, to enclose 5m of open chillers. Shutting in the cool refrigerated air, instead of expelling it into the store.

Now the chilled produce is consistently cool from front-to-back, energy efficiencies are being made and the fridges aren't working overtime doing battle with the warm store temperatures, which makes for extended chiller life.
