2027 couples… a little heads up!

After keeping my wedding prices where they are for quite a while, I’ve made the decision that my wedding photography prices will be increasing for 2027.

BUT before they do, I’m giving you a chance to book at my current prices.
If you’re getting married in 2027 and book your date with me by 31st October, I’ll honour my current wedding pricing for your day.

I absolutely LOVE photographing weddings. The big moments, the tiny moments, the slightly chaotic moments, the belly laughs, the questionable dance moves and all the bits you didn’t even realise were happening.
My style has always been much more about you actually enjoying your wedding than spending half of it posing for photographs. I’ll grab the lovely family photos and the gorgeous couple shots, of course, but mostly I want to capture your day as it really felt.

So if you’re getting married in 2027 and have been meaning to get your photographer sorted, now would be a very good time to pop me a message.

Tell a friend to tell a friend… she’s baaaaack.

I photographed my first shoot since having the baby yesterday and honestly, I loved every second of it. It was so much fun and, for a few hours, I felt completely like me again.

I know lots of people have very kindly said, “No, enjoy your maternity leave!” but I promise I’m not planning to work Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, with an eight week old attached to me.

The beauty of what I do is that I can fit my work around my family, choose what I take on and still be there for all the important bits. I also have a very capable husband at home who is more than happy to take over.

And let’s be honest, when you’re self employed, you can’t just disappear indefinitely, especially with Christmas approaching.

So please don’t apologise for sending an enquiry. I want them. I genuinely love what I do and I cannot wait for all the autumn shoots, Christmas events and lovely families ahead.

Fun fact: I’ve wanted to be a midwife ever since I had my eldest daughter 13 years ago.

I never did become one, but perhaps that explains why photographing these very first hours of motherhood feels so incredibly special to me.

These photographs were taken at Gloucester Maternity Ward when this gorgeous little girl was less than 24 hours old. Still sleepy, still curled into that newborn scrunch and with her mum still running on the adrenaline of bringing her into the world.

There is no more tender time to photograph a family than this. You’re getting to know this brand new little person, recovering from birth and sharing some of your very first moments together. Being invited into that bubble requires so much care and sensitivity, and it’s something I’ll never take for granted.

Brand new baby photographs really are the very best.

Oh hello, business page. It’s been a while!

Now that being outside no longer feels like standing in the centre of the sun, outdoor shoots are actually enjoyable again.

I’m slowly easing myself back into work over the next couple of months after having my own little baby. Don’t panic, I’m definitely not returning full time just yet! I’m taking on the odd shoot here and there because, honestly, I’ve missed it so much.

Starting back with gorgeous families like this one feels like a pretty lovely way to do it.

After photographing weddings for over 15 years, there are still some that leave me pinching myself.

Jess & Jack's wedding at the Tower of London was one of them.

From hearing the incredible history behind why the Tower meant so much to them, to wandering the grounds for portraits (and dodging hundreds of tourists with camera phones! ), it was a day I'll never forget.

Photographers will understand this level of excitement…

There’s nothing quite like finally finishing a job, ticking the last thing off your to-do list, and feeling that weight lift from your shoulders.

For me, it’s seeing an empty editing queue and knowing every client has their photos. 🙌🏻

Back to what I know and love… ❤️

I’ve been running my photography business for almost 8 years now and, before renting my studio space, I was exclusively mobile.

There’s something so special about stepping in to a family’s home and capturing those early days exactly as they are. The tiny noises, the feeds in between photos, the chats about birth stories and sleepless nights… it’s such a privilege to be invited in.

Sunday morning’s session was completely baby-led and so relaxed, and it reminded me why I fell in love with newborn photography in the first place.

There were so many things I loved about studio photography, but you really can’t beat an at-home session during those first few weeks of your baby’s life 🤍

And if you swipe to the final image, you’ll see the beautiful pink blanket we included in the shoot… it was actually the blanket Mum was brought home in as a newborn herself 🥹 those sentimental touches always make photos even more special.

What you see vs. What I see! 😍

I’m not going to lie to you - booking a newborn shoot when you have a 2 year old is always going to be a gamble, but we get whatever we can get, whenever we can get it! Absolutely no pressure to pose if they’re not feeling it.

I’ve done this job for nearly 8 years and the secret to success is going about your business and getting the shots you need until the older sibling is curious enough to come and get involved 🥰

Had my handsome nephews in yesterday and they were dreamy! Maybe it’s because at this point, they’re not phased by their auntie holding a camera or maybe it’s just the magic photographer skill I have…
