🚜 Our first fully electric loading shovel has arrived!

We’ve been looking at investing in electric machinery for some time, and we’re incredibly excited to have finally taken the plunge with our new 856HE Loading Shovel.

🔋 With its 423kWh battery, it can carry out a full day’s work on a single charge before being plugged in overnight, ready for another busy day ahead.

☀️ And this investment wouldn’t have been possible without our recent solar panel array installation, helping us make the move towards cleaner, more sustainable operations.

🌱 We’re proud to be embracing new technology and investing in practical changes that will help reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and support a more sustainable future.

👏🏻 Congratulations to Ryan Lander on passing his HGV test!

🪨 Ryan has been with us for a year, working at Swanworth Quarry as a dumper operative. Over the last few months, he’s been working hard towards achieving his HGV licence, and we’re pleased to say he’s now passed and is already out on the road as one of our tipper drivers!

📦 How does our nationwide pallet delivery work?

🗺️ If you're within Dorset, we will deliver your bags on our HIAB lorry, if you are outside of Dorset then our bulk bags are delivered via a kerbside pallet delivery service. The driver will unload your order at the nearest safe and accessible point using a tail lift and pallet truck, so it's worth ensuring there's suitable access and a firm, level surface for delivery.
