Massive thank you to Izzy (and mum!) who has been collecting litter in Timperley for 6 months for her Duke of Edinburgh silver award. That’s 24 bags of litter off our streets 👏👏👏

Litter picking event in Altrincham Sunday 13th September 😊

Celebrate a massive Altrincham milestone next Sunday (13th September) and join us to remove our 4000th bag of rubbish from Altrincham town centre!

Ever wondered how Altrincham looks cleaner, tidier and more welcoming than some other towns? It’s through the efforts of volunteers like you!

Supported by Visit Altrincham, we are hosting a Community Litter Pick in Altrincham. We will start at 1pm outside the front of Altrincham Town Hall and return there at 3pm for celebratory cake and bubbles!

If you’d like to take part in this milestone event and celebrate together, please email me by 6pm next Saturday (Sept 12th) [email protected].

All you need is a pair of gloves; we provide the rest: a lightweight hi-viz vest, a litter picker, a bag hoop, some bin bags and a route map to follow with your team mates. We will pair you up with someone experienced if you’re flying solo, so don’t be shy!

And if you have any questions, please feel free to email me too 👍🏻
