We did it!

We have won our category as ‘Service and Maintenance Specialist of the Year’ for the Foodservice Equipment Journal Awards. This is a tremendous achievement, and we are just over the moon.

This award is given to those who stand out in service and maintenance on a national scale. Not just the northwest, where we are based, but everywhere in the country.
What’s more, the FEJ Awards for our category are voted on by the operators. That means that you don’t have to just take our word for it, you can take it from the operators who depend on us the most.

Thank you so much to everyone who have supported us over the years. We will honour this award by continuing our unbeatable service and maintenance and striving to improve each and every day.

A massive well done to all the winners as well, we truly are on the shoulders of giants.

NWCE is celebrating 7 years at our headquarters in Bolton this month.

It’s hard to believe that a good part of a decade has passed since moving to these premises.

When we began the next chapter of our professional journey back in 2019, we had an office team of 7 people.

Fast forward to the present, and that team has increased seven times over!

It’s hard not to get emotional looking at how much this passion project has grown.

We would like to thank everyone who has joined us on this journey so far, whether it's from our humble beginnings or more recently, we appreciate you.

NWCE is proud to have supported the Greene King charity annual fundraiser event: an event that unites us under the common goal of helping those in need.

To think that we and many other suppliers and distributors came together to raise an estimated £300,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support is humbling.

Greene King’s partnership with Macmillan began in 2012, 14 years ago. In that time, over £27,000,000 has been raised for Macmillan’s endeavours.

The charity provides specialist healthcare, practical assistance, and emotional and financial support to people living with cancer and their families.

It is no exaggeration that this money will change lives, and NWCE is proud to help Greene King in their efforts to raise money for a disease that will affect half of us in our lifetime.

We look forward to Greene King’s future events.

Grimsby Youth Zone Opens with Royal Recognition

It’s not every day that The King visits a project you have helped bring to life. It’s even rarer to see King Charles III officially open a development that you have contributed to and unveil a commemorative plaque to mark the occasion.

Last week, King Charles III visited Grimsby Youth Zone to celebrate the opening of this outstanding community facility. The project was delivered through the collaboration of Horizon Youth Zone, the main contractor, architects, consultants, designers, and specialist suppliers, all working together to create a space that will benefit young people across the region for years to come.

NWCE was proud to play its part by designing and delivering the commercial kitchen and foodservice facilities at the heart of the building. While our contribution was just one element of a much larger project, the kitchen will play a vital role in supporting the Youth Zone's mission by providing nutritious meals, creating opportunities for young people to learn valuable life skills, and helping foster a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through its doors.

The royal visit highlighted the importance of projects like Grimsby Youth Zone and the positive impact they have on local communities. We are proud to have contributed our expertise alongside so many talented partners to help make this vision a reality.

The King's visit came just days after another milestone for the project. At the CEDA Grand Prix Awards, our Grimsby Youth Zone kitchen project won the 'Under £100,000 Design Project' category.

With five projects shortlisted across the awards and two category wins on the night, it was a fantastic achievement for everyone at NWCE and recognition of the quality and dedication our team brings to every project.
