Not every car park project needs a complete rebuild.
At Aintree Hospital, the challenge was to create a stronger, more practical parking surface that could cope with regular vehicle traffic, without turning the project into a major resurfacing job.
That’s where EcoGrid E40 XXL came in.
The larger-format gravel grids allowed the area to be covered quickly, creating a strong interlocking structure beneath the finished gravel surface. Once filled, the grids help keep the aggregate contained, reduce movement and provide a stable surface for everyday cars and vans.
And because the finished surface remains permeable, rainwater can drain naturally through the system rather than simply running off the car park.
