Things are getting spooky in our woodwork factory...

Forget pumpkin carving by hand, our CNC router is making light work of it!

With its ability to cut intricate shapes, patterns and profiles into MDF, plywood and other timber-based materials, our CNC cutting capabilities have been put to work producing everything from sofa frames and lockers to branded components and display cases.

A bit of sanding underway in our woodwork factory! 👌

We're smoothing out any surface imperfections and preparing this timber for its final finish.

This stage is key to making sure the appearance and quality of the product are up to our high standards. Our wood finishing, including oiling, varnishing, sealing and spray painting, is carried out in-house to help keep lead times down throughout production.

We're off to a busy start to the week, with our powder coating team applying our customer's chosen colour to their product.

Our in-house powder coating service allows us to achieve a durable, consistent finish in a wide range of colours, while keeping control over quality and lead times throughout the manufacturing process.

There's always something satisfying about seeing a project take shape, from the initial design through to fabrication, finishing and final assembly.

Our work varies from bespoke furniture and retail displays to architectural metalwork. No two jobs are quite the same, and that's just how we like it!

Another metal part taking shape on the shop floor! 👌

Using our press brake, we can accurately form components at angles ranging from 30° to 170° in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium, ready for a wide range of applications.

Getting these bends right is particularly important when it comes to assembly, where even a slight variation can affect how parts fit together, their structural integrity and the final appearance.

A good weld shouldn't be the first thing you notice!

Welding is a big part of what we do at Dymond, with MIG, TIG and spot welding all carried out in-house.

We're talking strong, high-integrity joints with neat, visually discreet finishes. In fact, once painted, many of our welds are virtually invisible to the naked eye!

It's something we take real pride in.

Monday's moving. 🙌

The week's off to a flying start with a batch of machined and assembled components coming together nicely. They're one part of a much bigger project, but every part has its role to play!

Machined and assembled entirely in-house, we're able to keep a close eye on quality throughout while maintaining short lead times.

Drying off nicely after this morning’s powder coating. 👌

There’s always a good mix of parts moving through the paint shop, with different sizes, shapes and finishes to suit each job.

Keeping powder coating in-house means parts can move directly from fabrication to finishing, before heading on to assembly or leaving the factory.
