Recent job for customer, oil combi swap. The old boiler had seen better days which had developed a serious internal leak. Also when boiler was installed over 10 years ago incorrect distance from window to flue was not checked, which we made correct on new boiler install with flue plume kit to suit. Job taken on last week in crowle. Customer complained the central heating system was only working on a couple of radiators and the hot water pressure was very poor from the vented hot water cylinders. We replaced the 2 hot water cylinders in dressing room with a new unvented 300ltr cylinder in the loft space. Regards the heating system we went for a new magna clean filter and power flush. But to find totally blocked pipework and fittings which in the end needed rodding and physically stripping to clear the blockage/ fittings. Finally in the outside lodge a toilet and sink was fitted with pipework to suit install.
