Meet the new boss 🔥
When one of our high profile clients approached us to enhance the performance and feel of his F90 M5 LCI, we formulated a plan to keep the feel of the car like stock, but with the Hack Engineering performance touch.
To that effect, we added full Eventuri intakes including the turbo inlets for radically improved intake efficiency and sound - as well an under-bonnet appearance like no other.
To match the intake side, we then added a Milltek active centre exhaust section. These cars are heavily muted from factory but also easy to ruin the refinement of; a difficult balance to strike, but it's been absolutely nailed in this case.
The final step on the mechanical front was the stance - for that we added an AST x MOTON Suspension height-adjustable spring setup and The Performance Company wheel spacers; not only perfecting that arch gap, but also improving the ride over the standard springs.
Finally, of course, was software. With the customer requesting a nice linear power curve, we set about custom tuning - only possible after sending the ECUs to AutoTuner for full unlocking. This tuning work was backed up by an xHP Flashtool gearbox flash with custom settings.
The result? An M5 that looks and sounds perfectly OEM+, but with over 700bhp of continent-crushing performance. The perfect way to make this M5 fulfil its original design brief even better than when it left the factory, but is also far more of an occasion whenever it's wheeled out of the collection.
