🟡🔵 Thwaites 1t dumper had been tipped on its side. Compression tested each piston and found piston 1 had significantly lower pressure than the other two. Had to remove the engine to gain better access and found that it had a bent conrod. New rod and head gasket fitted and she’s back up running again.

Had a day out back in 1975 the other day, was surprised to see things in colour. I presumed athing was black n white

•new ignition barrel fitted to MF20
•front loader wasn’t working on MF575
•Ford 655C topped up with hydraulic oil
•starting fault on Bomag roller
