Our robot naming competition has come to an end, and we can now reveal the winning names for all four of our robots!

⚙️ Robot 1 – Fusilier

⚙️ Robot 4 – Tango

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to enter and help us give our robots their new identities. We received some fantastic suggestions, making the final decisions a tough one!

The winning names will be displayed on plaques next to each robot, with the successful entrants also welcomed to Teagle for a factory tour to see their winning suggestions on display.

We can’t believe it has already been two weeks since we hosted Teagle’s first Vocational Celebration Day! It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the skilled apprentices here in Cornwall and across the UK. A huge thank you to Enginuity and EAL for choosing Teagle to host the inaugural event alongside Steph's Packed Lunch

We were also delighted to welcome Gareth, a Digital Media Specialist from the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA), who is working on the We Are Land-based Engineering initiative. Gareth spent the day speaking with apprentices at every stage of their journey, from one of our newest recruits to a fully fledged production engineer, and captured their experiences in this short film. Thank you, Gareth Ford—we look forward to welcoming you back to Teagle soon!

“We need to do more to show young people where a career in engineering can take them.”

Our Production Director, Richard Berryman, joined Steph McGovern on The Rest Is Money podcast to talk about a subject he is hugely passionate about – apprenticeships.

Richard shares Teagle’s experience of employing and developing apprentices, the value they bring to our business, and why more needs to be done to promote engineering as an exciting and rewarding career choice in schools and colleges.

For Richard, apprenticeships aren’t simply about filling skills gaps. They’re about giving young people an opportunity, supporting them as they develop and building the engineering talent our industry needs for the future.

What an incredible — and slightly surreal — morning we’ve had here at Teagle!

When we designed our new paint production line, we certainly never imagined it would one day be transformed into a film set, complete with a DJ warming up for Boardmasters and representatives from so many fantastic companies filling the space.

A huge thank you to and EAL for choosing Teagle to host the very first Vocational Celebration Day, and to the brilliant Steph McGovern, who made everyone feel completely at ease during their interviews. We’re also fairly sure Kev won’t forget his new role as Steph’s chauffeur in a hurry!

Thank you as well to all the businesses, colleges and apprentices who joined us and helped make the event such a success.

And finally, a massive thank you to our incredible team here at Teagle. Everyone pulled together to make the day run so smoothly, and it was a real team effort from start to finish.

A very memorable day for everyone involved.

We’re very lucky to have such a great team here at Teagle.

With Vocational Celebration Day taking place tomorrow, everyone is busy doing their bit to get the site ready — from organising, preparing and setting up, to making sure everything runs smoothly on the day.

It’s a real team effort, and brilliant to see so many people pulling together behind the scenes.
