EDS TURNS 10!

Engineering & Development Solutions (EDS) celebrates 10 years in business!

Ten years ago, EDS started with one person, one desk and a vision to provide practical, honest and reliable engineering advice to help developments move forward.

Today, that one-person operation has grown into a strong team of 11 — and what a journey it has been!

Over the past decade, we’ve had the privilege of working with developers, architects, planners, landowners and businesses across the UK, with a particular focus on Cornwall and Devon, helping bring thousands of projects forward.

To date, we’re incredibly proud to have completed more than 4,600 jobs, covering everything from Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), surface water and foul drainage, flood risk assessments and highways, through to civil engineering, groundwater monitoring, nutrient neutrality and statutory approvals.

But the numbers only tell part of the story.

Behind every one of those 4,600+ jobs are people, projects, challenges solved, planning applications supported, developments delivered and — most importantly — relationships built along the way.

From that small beginning to the team we are today, we couldn’t have done it without our fantastic clients, consultants, contractors, colleagues and everyone who has trusted EDS over the years.

So today, we’re taking a moment to celebrate 10 years of EDS — 10 years of learning, growing, designing, problem-solving and helping make development happen.

Here’s to the first 10 years… and to the next chapter!

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the EDS journey. We’re excited for what comes next.

In the last couple of years we have seen a rise of requests to carry out groundwater monitoring across the south west.

We now carry out the installation of groundwater monitoring equipment and the data recording, across a range of sites from solar farms to larger housing developments.

Here is a short video of Aquasource using one of their rigs to drill the borehole, ready for us to place our monitoring equipment in.
