A re-creation of a classic.

We installed this Pre 74 model, Aga range in Brighton a few weeks ago. It’s been enamelled in a custom Arsenic colour to match this original advert from around 1956.

Despite its classic look, it’s got a touch screen control hidden behind the left hand door and a ceramic hotplate under the left chrome dome. It’s fully app controlled with cook timers and 24hr time clock control as standard thanks to the Electrickit system we’ve installed.

We’ve been really, really busy recently, which is great, but it does mean I’ve neglected the socials slightly. So here’s an installation from a couple of weeks ago in Brighton.

This one has 3 ceramic plates available as well as a warming cupboard upgrade which sees all of the ovens capable of a roasting temp with temperature control over each cavity.

Finished in a Saxon Blue enamel and chrome fittings, the Electrickit advanced system hidden behind the operations door means that this cooker can be controlled via an app, or the touchscreen panel. It boasts much faster heat up times than traditional Aga ranges and due to the controllability of the system is a much more efficient choice than 13a, gas or oil alternatives.

We had a great day in Oxfordshire this week getting this 2 Oven Aga range up and running again.

We’ve removed an aging, faulty and inefficient 13a AIMS system and installed the ‘classic’ system.

This system has all the build quality of the ‘advanced’ and works in a very similar way while maintaining simple, manual controls for operation.

Now back up and running, this cooker was oil fired originally and converted to electric when the oil line failed. The 13a system had proved expensive and had broken down on a regular basis.

Our customer was very happy to see her up and running again and will benefit from complete control between hot plates and ovens and a saving in energy consumption costs because of this.

We couldn’t resist giving it a bit of a clean and fitting a shiny new badge while we were there!

Pistachio!

We went to Hampshire this week to install this fully refurbished 2 oven Aga range in a beautifully renovated farmhouse.

Our customer visited our little workshop late last year to trawl through our colour samples and even brought a tile from the kitchen in order to colour match.

Originally Claret in colour this cooker was removed from the original kitchen a couple of years ago and stored ready to be re-installed in the new space. We’re really looking forward to seeing the finished kitchen installed around it.

It’s been fully re-enamelled and had a full set of new chrome parts as well as having the system installed within to maximise efficiency and control.

Now fully WiFi controllable and ready for another 20 years service.

We only went to fix the top oven temperature control on this gas module and ended up giving it a clean too!

All fully functional and ready to cook again. 😊
