September is the perfect time to get your garden ready for autumn. Here’s your handy checklist:

🌱 Plant trees, shrubs and perennials while the soil is still warm.
✂️ Cut back tired perennials and remove spent summer bedding.
🌿 Keep on top of weeds before they get a head start.
🍎 Harvest ripe fruit and vegetables before the weather turns.
🌹 Deadhead roses and give them a final tidy.
