A. My name is Colin Pow and I’m the pick up delivery driver.

A. 23 years.

A. Anything light as I’m lifting it of the pick up lol.

A. How are we getting the materials off the pick up?

A. Coffee.

A. I’m an ex break dance champion.

Q. What's your go-to lunch on a workday?
A. Left overs from previous nights dinner. Wife always makes extra. PS she’s a great cook. 🧑‍🍳

Q. What's the funniest thing that's happened at work (that you can share).
A. Rep came in when we first opened the branch. Asked how long we had been open. I replied since 7-30 this morning mate. He stormed out in the huff as everyone burst out laughing lol.

A. Sitting in my bar in nice hot country.

A. My names Lee, and I do a little bit of everything.

A. I’m a massive wh**ky geek.

A. Beans on toast.

Q. What's the funniest thing that's happened at work (that you can share).
A. I worked with a lorry driver who put his clocks forward an hour when they should have went back an hour for DST, then turned up at work 2 hours early on the Monday morning.

A. Fishing.

A. My names Mark, and I'm the depot manager.

A. Just over 6 months.

Q. What's your favourite product that we sell?
A. Timber & sheets, as they're our bread & butter, followed by our landscaping products.

A. 'Have you been on holiday again?' 😂

A. Black Coffee

A. Outside of work I am the Vice Chairman at Tranent Football Club, I have 3 kids & twin grandkids.

Warehouse Assistant / Relief Transit Pick Up Driver

Due to continued growth at J W Grant East Lothian, another exciting career opportunity has arisen.

We're seeking

Someone with a focus on excellent customer service.

If you're already working in our industry and looking for the opportunity to shine with a company that really cares, we would love to hear from you. Whilst some industry experience or experience of work in a similar environment would be ideal, this is not essential as full training will be given. Attitude and ambition are what’s most important to us.

Ideally you will have a current valid counterbalance forklift truck certificate or very recent experience of driving counterbalance forklifts.

Due to part of the role involving relief cover driving a transit pick-up vehicle to do deliveries, this role would suit somebody with some multi drop driving experience.

The ability to work both as part of a team and independently, honesty, integrity and reliability are all attributes that would make you a great fit for us.
