Paddocks looking sad after the drought? Need to repair your pasture now we've had some rain, add new seed or maybe a herbal mix? Or perhaps you would like to establish the wildflower meadow you have always dreamt of? Then you need a Scarrow!

The most versatile harrow on the market, the well proven tine and chain hybrid is highly effective at levelling loose soil and dung, tearing out weeds and dead grass whilst introducing new seed at the same time. Whether that is patching up with new grass seed, introducing a nutritious herbal mix or establishing a wildflower meadow, the Scarrow can do it all. And if you have a horse school or arena the Scarrow works well as a groomer on a wide range of surface types too. Probably the only harrow you will ever need!

The trailed Scarrow can be hitched to a quad bike, ATV, large lawn tractor or pick-up/4x4. The tractor mounted version is equipped with a standard category 1 three-point linkage suitable for most tractors of 20hp or above. All Scarrow's are British built, are UK CA certified and have a fully galvanised frame for long life.

The optional integrated seeder broadcaster takes a 12V supply from the vehicle and is controlled by a single switch located by the drivers seat. The unit is equipped with an electrically actuated seed cut-off slide and an infinitely variable speed control to optimise spread width. The seeder fits onto the Scarrow with a single clamp screw and is suitable for most types of seed and low volumes of fertiliser.
Also now available with front spring mounted levelling bar for knocking down mole hills or grading loose material.

After a fantastic few days at the Great Yorkshire Show last week along with Yorkshire dealer Readman Mowers, the Tractek team are busy preparing and shipping out some of the machines ordered at the show.

Three going out today and more to go. Todays shipments are all the popular SCT16 trailed model, one is the base machine, one has the levelling bar option and the third has everything including the seeder unit.

Pallet shipment makes delivery simple where ever you are in the UK or further afield.

The customers have a mix of applications, paddock work, arena grooming and one will use it for maintaining a large gravel drive and parking area. Proving that the Scarrow is "Much more than a harrow!"

The scene is set for the latest leg of the Scarrow UK tour!

See the new specification trailed Scarrow at the Great Yorkshire Show this week. The machine complete with front levelling bar and seeder kit can be seen on the Readman Mowers Stand number 47 along with a wide range of IODES UTV's, Solis and Iseki tractors, Winton equipment and, mowers of all sizes.

Scarrow on tour!

The stand is number 543. A great first day of the show resulted in some great enquiries and quotations!

Great news from Tractek Engineering, we are pleased to announce our new Scarrow dealer in Yorkshire is Readman Mowers from York. We delivered and installed the first Scarrow with Michael Readman this week and they are all primed up to sell the full range of tractor mounted and trailed Scarrows alongside the extensive range of equipment they already offer. This includes ATV's, UTV's, tractors from both Solis and Iseki, paddock and equestrian machinery and a huge range of lawn and garden equipment.

Also look out for the Scarrow on the Readman Mowers stand at this years Great Yorkshire Show in July.
